“No one has ever been up to Heaven except the Son of Man who came down from Heaven. The Son of Man must be lifted above the heads of men—as Moses lifted up that serpent in the desert—so that any man who believes in him may have eternal life. For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that every one who believes in him shall not be lost, but should have eternal life. You must understand that God has not sent his Son into the world to pass sentence upon it, but to save it—through him. Any man who believes in him is not judged at all. It is the one who will not believe who stands already condemned, because he will not believe in the character of God’s only Son. This is the judgment—that light has entered the world and men have preferred darkness to light because their deeds are evil. Anybody who does wrong hates the light and keeps away from it, for fear his deeds may be exposed. But anybody who is living by the truth will come to the light to make it plain that all he has done has been done through God.”

John 3:13-21, J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)

What’s in a name?

Bible

The Bible is made up of 66 books, written by 40 authors over a span of approximately 1,500 years, and it does not contradict itself! In fact, it tells one cohesive story about creation, a fall, a rescue, and finally a restoration! It is the world’s most amazing book!

Talk

Talking about things is how we can expand our knowledge and understanding! Healthy debates can open our minds to new ideas and thought-processes. It’s important to have open discussion with others, though always in a respectful manner!

Life

Life is a journey – our goal is to reach the top of the mountain called “life”, but it takes determination and perseverance to survive! When you read the Bible and discuss things with others, you will understand God’s word better and His plan for your life!

About US

Our Story

Our ministry has evolved over the years and was inspired by a dear friend of ours, Brenda Crowe, who went to be with the Lord in 2011. Brenda’s blog posts still inspire people today, and can be read in our blog, along with other authors’ posts.

More recently, our ministry name has changed from DestinyWord to BibleTalk.Life because we simply wish to spread the Word of God and His Love to others, and to be here to answer questions if needed.

Our blog has multiple authors, and we’ve purposely removed author names to ensure the blog posts are as anonymous as possible (other than the occasional personal stories that might include a few first names to help to illustrate a point). We’ve done this because all glory belongs to Jesus, and we aim to shine the light on Him, and not ourselves.

We are also on our own life journey, learning more about God and life as we go. Read our blog posts and learn more about our thoughts and things we have learned!
